The Alaris^® PK Syringe Pump has been specifically designed to meet the needs of the Anaesthetist. The Alaris^® PK Syringe Pump contains built in software which includes Pharmacokinetic (PK) and Pharmacodynamic (PD) modelling for three widely used anaesthesia drugs. The Alaris^® PK Syringe Pump's compact design enables it to be moved among a hospital's pre-operative units, operating rooms and post-operative settings while remaining connected to the patient. This feature safeguards against the loss of vital patent data and, combined with the embedded software drug models, helps assure the safe, precise delivery of anaesthesia drugs, with Pharmacokinetic(PK) and Pharmacodynamic(PD) models for the following drugs*:Diprivan/Propofol, Remifentanil, Sufentanil. Classical TIVA operation is available, with PK/PD predictions, allowing the Anaesthetist to easily switch from TCI mode to TIVA mode. The large, clear display features both numeric information and graphs, with easy to understand trend with plasma and effects site predictions.* Consult local licensing and prescribing information.
