The Alaris^® CC Syringe Pump with its variable pressure monitoring system helps reduce some of the risks associated with undetected occlusions, as the user can select the appropriate pressure levels to suit the needs of the individual patient. This may be particularly important for critical infusions, when drugs with a short half-life are being infused, in the adult Critical Care or in the Neonatal Unit.
