The IVAC® PCAM® Patient Controlled Analgesia Management (PCA) Syringe Pump is designed for improved management of acute postoperative pain - providing the clinician with instant and detailed bedside information about the patient's use of the device. Simple to operate and easy to clean, the IVAC® PCAM® PCA Syringe Pump is quick to programme with pre PCA protocols that can be user modified to suit the individual patient's needs. The IVAC® PCAM® PCA Syringe Pump is designed to enable quick simple syringe loading, the syringe clamp securely holds the syringe in place for added security. A wide range of USER DEFINED OPTIONS allow the PCAM® PCA Syringe Pump to be configured to suit individual PCA protocols. Product features include: A large comprehensive display, which automatically dims at night. The screen display includes the PCA protocol in use, graphic analysis of the patient's treatment, dose infused, dose remaining, pressure reading with alarm level and lock out time remaining. Continuous background dose facility, as well as the PCA dose. A clear strong lockable cover, preventing unauthorised access. Removable programming key and Clinician over-ride button.
